The Artist

Awakening the Lady In Red

Zimer Started out at the turn of the millennium and learned the art of graffiti on the underground walls of Queens, New York. As an adolescent, he mastered his craft by spending every available moment painting or studying countless international artists at 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center. After developing his personal aesthetic, he increasingly adopted fine art principles into his paintings with frequent visits to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Eventually the mix of street and fine art were intertwined to the point where his art transcends any typology. Yearning to stretch his creative mind to the maximum, he enrolled in architecture school, earning a Bachelor or Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology. In addition to painting and architecture, Zimer explores works in sculpture, fashion, furniture, animation and graphic design.
